Frank Boahene
GGT M.D. Frank Boahene is presented with the All
African Sports Award (Technical category) by Hon. Mr. Osei Bonsu Amoah
Deputy Minister of Education, Science & Sports. Ghana Green Grass Technology M.D Frank Boahene was honoured with an award for outstanding contribution to the development of Africa’s sporting infrastructure. The award All Africa Sports Award (AAS) Technical Category was presented to Mr. Boahene by the Deputy Minister of State Hon. Mr. Osei Bonsu Amoah at the AAS’s inaugural ceremony at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra. Commenting on his award Mr. Boahene said, “I am humbled to be honoured in this way and delighted to accept the award on behalf of all GGT staff whose dedication and hard work have made this award possible.” The Award jointly sponsored by the Commonwealth Sports Foundation and Ghana @50 recognise and honour the outstanding contribution to sport of, ‘Africa’s finest.’ Also honoured are Kip Keino for distinguished service to World Athletics Mozambique’s Maria Mutola in the Women’s category, Filbert Bayi humanitarian and IAAF President Lamine Diack administration |
